We’re closing in on a very popular time of the year for Daddy-Daughter dances: February. Centered around Valentine’s Day, Father-Daughter dances are a great way for dads to take their little girls out for a fun night together.
Below is a list of the Daddy-Daughter dances that we’re aware of in Hendricks County in 2017. I expect to add to the list as more information comes my way, so be sure to check back often!
Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017
The Parent-Teacher Organization at St. Susanna Catholic School in Plainfield hosts its annual My Girl Dance on Saturday, Feb. 4 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the school. Girls from any elementary or middle school are welcome to attend with an adult chaperone. Dance to a DJ; enjoy punch & cookies, take pics with your friends! The Hendricks Regional Health YMCA in Avon hosts its annual Valentine’s Day Dance on Friday, Feb. 10 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Join us for a one of a kind date night with those who really have your heart, your kids! Bring the apple of your eye and the girl you adore, for a family fun event! Activities include music, games, snacks, a themed photo space with a professional photographer, and more! Plainfield Parks & Recreation offers three dates for their Daddy-Daughter Dance: Friday, Feb. 10; Saturday, Feb. 11 and Sunday, Feb. 12 at the Richard A. Carlucci Recreation and Aquatic Center. Dances are from 6 to 8 p.m. on each night. Registration is $15 per person. Any adult may accompany a daughter in lieu of a father.

Brownsburg Parks & Recreation hosts its annual Father-Daughter Dance on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brownsburg High School cafeteria. Targeting ages 4-12, this dance costs $40 per couple.

Light and Life Preschool in Avon is hosting a FREE Daddy-Daughter Dance on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at their church located at 8264 E. County Road 100 S. Come and go as you please at this dance, BUT you must obtain a FREE ticket prior to the event to attend. Members of the community can pick those up, beginning Jan. 30, at the church or at the preschool office.

The Kiwanis Club of Danville hosts its 8th annual Daddy-Daughter Dance on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Danville Community Middle School. This dance is for girls ages 3-12 and any responsible adult chaperone, regardless of gender. Registration is $25 per couple, and additional daughters are just $5 each. Daughters will receive a corsage and a door prize, plus there will be snacks and free photographs that will be posted online and on the club’s Facebook page for people to download, tag and share. Project A.N.G.E.L. will host its annual Father-Daughter Dance on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Washington Township Park Pavilion in Avon. This year’s theme is an evening tea party. What goes great with this cold weather? A great time between Fathers and Daughters over a hot cup of tea. Registration is $40 per couple, and additional daughters are $7 each. Click here to register.
